Multimedia content development for travel, experience with social media

Job Overview

We are inviting passionate, locally rooted Travel Influencers to partner with us on a global initiative that aims to reconnect the African diaspora with their ancestral heritage through immersive, culturally rich travel experiences.

This opportunity blends storytelling, cultural insight, and community collaboration. As a Travel Influencer, you will help craft and promote authentic itineraries that spotlight African heritage, indigenous traditions, and diaspora histories within your region.

Your Role: Storyteller & Cultural Guide

You’ll serve as both a creator and curator—crafting compelling content while helping travelers discover the African cultural footprint in your local context, whether rooted in indigenous identity, diaspora communities, or historical migration.

Responsiblities

  • Produce engaging multimedia content (videos, blogs, reels, podcasts, photography) that highlights the culture, people, places, and events of your local area.
  • Develop content that explores the African diaspora experience and heritage travel.
  • Contribute to cross-platform storytelling campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, blogs, and newsletters.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A locally connected individual with deep knowledge of African or Afro-descendant culture in your country or region.
  • An established or rising digital storyteller—whether as an influencer, blogger, photographer, or content creator—with a visible online presence.
  • Passionate about travel, cultural preservation, heritage tourism, and the African diaspora.
  • Skilled in cross-cultural communication and able to serve as a cultural bridge between visitors and local communities.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and (ideally) experienced in travel coordination or event planning.
