Join our team as a Business Executive Assistant for our corporate expansion in Rwanda, Kigali. We are seeking a dynamic Business Executive Assistant to play a key role in establishing and managing our presence in this new market. As a proactive and detail-oriented individual with exceptional communication and administrative skills, you will be a crucial part of our team, contributing to the success of our mission.

  • Conduct on-site visits to offices to oversee the establishment of company processes and ensure smooth operations.
  • Build and nurture relationships with local clients, partners, and stakeholders to establish a strong presence in the new market.
  • Act as a liaison between the company and the local team and partners, facilitating clear communication and alignment of goals and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue business opportunities in the new market, contributing to the development and execution of the branch's business development strategy.
  • Conduct market research to gain a deep understanding of local industry trends, competitors, and potential areas for growth.
  • Oversee client management and engagement activities, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordinate and participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the new market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to drive synergy and efficiency in operations.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on the progress, challenges, and successes of the new branch.
  • Resolve any issues or challenges related to the company’s operation promptly, working with local and international teams to find effective solutions.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the new branch, promoting a sense of unity and shared purpose among team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • BA/BS University degree in Business Administration, International business or its equivalent is preferred
  • Proven experience in business development, market research, and client relationship management.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail in handling administrative tasks.
  • Fluency in English and knowledge of Kinyarwanda for effective communication in the Rwandan market.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and cultural nuances in the Rwandan market.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work effectively in a diverse, international environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic work environment, particularly during the establishment of a new branch.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in business development and administrative support.
  • Experience working in international or multicultural settings is an advantage.
