We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to deploy, automate, maintain, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure hosting Drupal applications.
The DevOps Engineer will work with cloud architects, Drupal developers, security engineers, QA specialists, and support teams to ensure enterprise Drupal platforms are highly available, scalable, automated, reliable, and recoverable.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure supporting Drupal applications.
- Build and manage development, staging, production, and disaster recovery environments.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar technologies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployment.
- Automate Drupal builds, deployments, testing, and rollback.
- Support Drupal deployments using Composer and Drush.
- Administer Linux-based cloud environments.
- Support enterprise Drupal multisite architectures.
- Configure and manage networking, load balancing, storage, databases, DNS, SSL/TLS, and CDN services.
- Configure and optimize MySQL/MariaDB, Solr/SearchStax, Varnish, Memcache/Redis, and OPcache.
- Implement automated site provisioning and decommissioning.
- Support application, database, file, and configuration migrations.
- Implement high availability and auto-scaling.
- Develop backup, restoration, and disaster recovery automation.
- Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management.
- Support zero or near-zero-downtime deployments.
- Develop automated rollback procedures.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, database, caching, search, networking, and application-performance issues.
- Support production deployments, maintenance, and incident resolution.
- Develop technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, SRE, or related experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise web applications in cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or comparable platforms.
- Strong Linux administration skills.
- Experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC technologies.
- Strong CI/CD experience.
- Experience with Git-based source control.
- Experience supporting highly available production systems.
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, CDN, storage, and database services.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
