Data Center Hosting and Colocation Through TIPS Contract 260302
LABUSA is an awarded vendor under TIPS Contract 260302, Data Center Hosting, Sales and Service. Public agencies, school districts and other TIPS members can place servers in a carrier-neutral facility, lease dedicated hosting, or bring in engineers to run infrastructure they already own, without running a separate solicitation for any of it.
What this contract covers
Three things, and they are usually bought together. Space and power in a Houston facility on the Dallas to Houston fiber route, by the rack unit. Dedicated servers leased by the month, from a two-processor machine up to sixteen processors and five terabytes. And the people to design, install, migrate and maintain any of it, priced by the hour.
The contract is a purchasing vehicle, not a specification. It settles who you may buy from and at what ceiling; it does not settle what you are buying. What LABUSA operates
The facility is staffed by a network operations center monitoring systems 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with N+1 redundancy on the supporting plant. Operations are covered by SSAE 18 SOC 1 and SOC 2 reporting, which is the evidence a procurement officer or an auditor will ask for rather than a marketing claim.
Day to day the same team handles shipping and receiving for customer equipment, inventory and asset labelling, hardware and software installation, and the network engineering that connects it. Colocation is carrier neutral, so the choice of transit provider stays yours.
Deployment models supported
LABUSA supports public cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments, and colocation sits alongside those rather than replacing them. A common shape is a hybrid one: a production workload in a leased rack, a recovery copy in public cloud, and an on-premise system that has to keep running because something depends on it locally.
The contract does not require a single model. It is equally usable for an agency consolidating three server rooms into one rack, and for one that wants its existing hardware housed somewhere with a generator and a service level.

Ordering Information
1) Reference TIPS Contract 260302 when requesting a quote.
2) Include the contract number on the purchase order.
3) Send the requirement to LABUSA and a proposal is prepared against the published ceilings.
4) Your organization issues the purchase order to LABUSA under the contract.

Support Services
Standard telephone and email support runs from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Central Time, Monday to Friday, and outside those hours on request. Hosted infrastructure is monitored continuously.
LABUSA commits to network availability of 99.999% in a given month, excluding scheduled maintenance, measured across the data center and cloud managed environments this contract provides.
