This position will provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through development, testing, migration, launch, documentation, training, and post-deployment support.

  • Establish development, sandbox, staging, testing, and production environments.
  • Plan and execute migration of existing website pages, documents, images, media, and structured content.
  • Implement and support SSO and identity provider integration and role-based access controls.
  • Design and develop integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, web services, and other integration technologies.
  • Support integrations involving e-commerce, payment systems, calendars, mapping and GIS platforms, search, email and SMS notifications, alerts, analytics, and other external services.
  • Configure and support cloud hosting infrastructure, CDN, WAF, SSL/TLS, backups, monitoring, logging, and high-availability capabilities.
  • Implement source-control, CI/CD, release-management, and deployment processes.
  • Ensure websites and digital content meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility requirements.
  • Optimize websites for mobile performance, Core Web Vitals, SEO, availability, and periods of high traffic.
  • Implement analytics, conversion tracking, dashboards, search analytics, and website optimization capabilities.
  • Conduct technical, integration, accessibility, performance, and security testing.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and remediation.
  • Develop launch, rollback, stabilization, and technical handoff plans.
  • Prepare architecture, configuration, migration, deployment, and as-built documentation.
  • Develop administrator and editor documentation.
  • Provide CMS training, technical knowledge transfer, and deployment support.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, CMS, integration, hosting, security, and performance issues.

Additional Requirements

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader capable of taking ownership of an enterprise web solution from initial architecture through development, migration, integration, testing, deployment, documentation, training, and production support.

The candidate should be comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams that may include project managers, UI/UX designers, accessibility specialists, developers, cloud and DevOps engineers, content specialists, and business stakeholders.

This role requires someone who can combine web development expertise with CMS architecture, cloud infrastructure, security, accessibility, and systems integration rather than focusing exclusively on front-end website development.

Technical Portfolio

Candidates should provide examples of applicable enterprise website or CMS projects demonstrating their experience with architecture, development, integrations, migrations, accessibility, cloud deployment, or high-traffic web environments.

Include applicable project links, portfolio links, code repository profiles, professional certifications, or credential verification links in the Cover Letter field on the application form.
