We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint Engineer to design and develop a Microsoft 365-based business application that modernizes a legacy Microsoft Access system.
Responsibilities
- Assess legacy Microsoft Access databases and business processes.
- Design and configure SharePoint Online lists, relationships, document libraries, permissions, and archival structures.
- Develop user interfaces and business applications using Microsoft Power Apps.
- Develop Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications, assignments, document generation, transaction logging, and reporting.
- Implement role-based permissions, data validation, audit trails, and security controls.
- Support data migration planning and provide migration templates and technical guidance.
- Conduct testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare architecture, configuration, migration, and as-built documentation.
- Provide technical training, knowledge transfer, and deployment support.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, application, or database development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience.
- Advanced experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Experience modernizing or migrating Microsoft Access applications to Microsoft 365 and the Power Platform.
- Experience with SharePoint Lists, Document Libraries, permissions, workflows, and data relationships.
- Experience developing approval workflows, automated notifications, document generation, and audit and transaction logging.
- Strong data modeling, testing, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to independently lead architecture, development, testing, UAT, and technical handoff.
- Current or previous Microsoft certification or credential relevant to Microsoft 365, SharePoint, or Power Platform.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting U.S. federal government or DoD environments.
- Microsoft 365 Government or Flank Speed experience.
- Knowledge of CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and federal cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with inventory, asset management, or warehouse applications.
- Experience with Power Fx, PowerShell, Dataverse, Entra ID, REST API, or Microsoft Graph.

Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Access modernization and be capable of independently leading the solution from architecture through development, testing, documentation, training, and deployment support.
