Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Training Instructor with a minimum of three years of experience in delivering online or remote training sessions. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating engaging and interactive learning experiences, leveraging various virtual platforms, and connecting with participants in a virtual environment.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate live-instructor-led training for a maximum of 2.5 hours of teaching per day. The rest of the time is dedicated to preparing videos for interactive, hands-on lab activities which are led by the Training Administrator.
  • Collaborate with Instructional designer to design and develop instructional materials, including e-learning/self-paced modules, instructor-led training materials, hands-on lab activities, job aids, and assessments.
  • Class sizes range from 12-24 students.
  • Manage and appropriately utilize a teaching assistant
  • Maintain regular office hours to support students’ questions
  • Apply adult learning theories to create effective and engaging learning experiences.
  • Utilize an in-house Learning Management System for assignments, tests, and real-time performance monitoring
  • Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs to make continuous improvements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in training.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of experience as a Training Instructor, with a focus on online or remote delivery.
  • Proven experience in delivering effective and engaging virtual training sessions.
  • Proven experience in career and personal development coaching is an added advantage
  • Familiarity with virtual training platforms and e-learning tools. At least two years of professional experience in the tech industry in a security role
  • Ability to commit to individual performance goals on certification and placement
  • Flexibility to adapt to continuous changes in the curriculum (needed to stay current in the industry)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in a remote setting.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • A passion for continuous learning and adapting to new technologies.
  • >Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

Additional Requirements

The remote position requires the necessary computer and internet service.
